Day 06 of the cut is not a perfect day. It is a recovery day, a reflection day, and a reminder that one slip-up does not have to turn into a lost week.
The day started dialed. The planned meal template included a parfait bowl, chicken Caesar salad, protein shake, and oats with honey. The structure was there, the meals were tracked, and there was room left for a crawfish boil later in the day.
Then life happened. The event pushed the numbers higher, and the real slip-up came afterward with extra raspberries, oats, honey, and a leftover treat. It was not the plan, but it was still trackable. That matters.
The point of this day is not to pretend binge days are ideal. The point is to show what to do next. You track it, you look at the week, you understand what changed, and you get back on the plan. If the week was supposed to be a deeper deficit and the slip-up cut that deficit down, that is not failure. That is information.
This is where CORPUS helps. It gives you a clear view of the day and the week instead of letting emotion take over. You can track the meals, see the calories, understand your deficit, and notice patterns around mood, energy, stress, and decision-making.
The other lesson is guardrails. When you are not at your best, your environment matters. Keep the house set up in a way that protects your goals. Build systems that still help you when willpower is low.
Import the meal template from the structured part of the day into CORPUS, customize it to your body, and keep moving.
Slip-ups happen. Track it, learn from it, get back on the bandwagon, and lock in.
